Be Still..’

‘Be Still...’ is about emotional tension.   The shape of the pear is feminine; the emphasis of the long stem embodies that tension. At the core of the fruit lies pleasure; the leaves act as a protective layer much like the peel of an orange or the tough skin of an avocado; slicing the pear exposes the layer beneath adding the drama of vulnerability.
